Arkless Electronics are specialists in High End Hi-Fi and offer an unparalleled technical service to the Hi-Fi enthusiast and even industry customers.
We have an unusually comprehensive range of test and measurement equipment to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
We can repair most makes of analogue Real Hi-Fi and are probably the only specialist in equipment from Alchemist Products and pre 1992 Musical Fidelity.

High quality classic Japanese equipment can also be repaired but is often far less straightforward due to the widespread use of "one off" parts and sealed modules. Please enquire.
We offer a rebuild service for older valve equipment such as the Leak Stereo 20 (a personal favourite!), Quad II, Pye Mozart etc
Most of these older classics can be brought back to better than new electrical condition and sound quality (sorry but we don't do cosmetic repairs. If it needs re-painting etc then you're on your own there!).
We can also "modernise" and improve the performance of many of these classics... Please enquire.
More recent equipment, valve and solid state, can also often be modified to give greatly improved results. We can offer such things as:
- Regulated power supplies.
- "Beefier" unregulated power supplies.
- Fitment of the latest super op-amps.
- Close tolerance components in RIAA stage.
- More direct signal path wiring.
The sky's the limit! Please contact us for a sensible discussion about your requirements and any "wish list" ideas you may have. We are not adherents to any of the more "lunatic fringe" ideas that one hears about from the purveyors of Hi-Fi "snake oil" these days, so if you want to discuss wooden cones, green pens or £1000 a metre cables then you have probably come to the wrong place!
Conversely, we are also not believers in "all amplifiers sound the same" and "if it measures perfect then it must sound perfect" The ear knows different!
Equipment can also be custom built to order (where time and finances allow). Most people who have heard our Phono Stage regard it as the best they have ever heard! Once again, please enquire.
